Microlite74 games are based on three little booklets found in the boxed set of the 1974 original edition of the world’s most popular tabletop fantasy roleplaying game. The rules are not intended to be a clone of the 0e rules, but rather a conversion of them to a rules-lite D20-based system (based on Microlite20) that encourages old-school play without strictly old-school rules. There are a large number of Microlite74-based games. Most are available in Free/Pay-What-You-Want editions. You can see all the Microlite74-based games here.

Microlite75 games are a “second generation” of the core Microlite74 games. While there are other differences, the main difference is that the experience system is based more like the original games (instead of using the more abstract Microlite20 experience system). Most Microlite74 expansion material will work with Microlite75 games with some minor adaptation. Most are available in Free/Pay-What-You-Want editions. You can see all the Microlite75-based games here.

This group is for comments and discussions on these games.
